Zinta alleged that Wadia had abused, threatened and humiliated her during an IPL match on May 30 at Wankhede Stadium.
Zinta and Wadia both are co-owners of Kings XI Punjab team.
Zinta will be arriving in the city from US late on Friday night.
"We have recorded one more person's statement today who was present in the Garware stand where the alleged incident took place. Meanwhile, Ranjib Biswal has told us that he will be coming to us next week since he is going to Australia," zonal deputy police commissioner Ravindra Shisve said.
Police said that they are waiting for Zinta and once her statement is recorded the picture about the 'allegations' will be clear. "We will take action after recording her statement," Shisve said when asked about Wadia's arrest. "We will weigh the evidence and corroboration and will decide our future course of action," he added.
All the witnesses are males.
Zinta submitted an application to the Marine Drive police station and flew to US. Her statement has not been recorded yet.
"She submitted an application about the allegation and it was treated as an FIR," Shisve added.
Police also don't know the reason for delay in filing the FIR.
