MYSORE: Discussions in media on the heir apparent and litigations surrounding the properties of Mysore royal family seems to have left perturbed the family members including Promoda Devi Wadiyar, wife of Srikanta Datta Narashiamraj Wadiyar, who passed away on Tuesday at Bangalore.
Talking to TOI, royal family sources said the media is going out of way to discuss the issues related to royal family and drawing their own conclusions on the issues related to royal family and the litigations surrounding the palace.
A source said the Pramoda Devi is peeved and pained over the speculative reports in section of press over the issue of Mysore palace acquisition act and alleged rift in the family.
"Princess who is already in deep distress over the loss of Wadiyar is upset over the reports in a section of press that there is a rift in the family members of Wadiyar and Wadiyar and his sisters are involved in a tangle on sharing the property" the source claimed pointing out that absolutely there is no rift in the family or among the sisters and Wadiyar .
Source said Wadiyar loved and was affectionate towards all his sisters and family members and there is not even an iota of truth in the reports of a rift between Wadiyar and his sisters over the properties or anything else. " All the sisters, Wadiyar and Pramoda Devi share cordial relationship"source added.
