British Airways announces discounts to mark India's 67th Independence Day

CHENNAI: British Airways (BA) will offer a 15% discount for business class passengers to the UK and the US if they buy tickets between August 15 and 18. The airline announced the discount to mark India's 67th Independence Day.

The four-day special offer will give 15% discount for passengers in first and club world (business class) cabins on flights to London and North America. Passengers who fly to those destinations between September 1 and December 20 can avail the offer.

The airline flies a daily flight from Chennai to London.

Christopher Fordyce, BA's regional commercial manager for South Asia, said, "British Airways is amongst the first international airlines to fly to India. This year marks our 84th year of flying to India and we are proud to be sharing such a long legacy with this great country."
